Air Conditioning & Heat
WindSong has a 12,000 Btu, split system a/c and reverse
heat installed. The compressor is in the starboard
lazzerette, at the transom, the evaporator & air
handler is located in the cabin, under the port settee.
This system is quiet and well-sized for the 36-Cruiser.
The system feeds the forward and aft staterooms via
3-inch tubing that results in almost zero loss of
valuable storage & locker space, yet does a good job
feeding those cabins. On Irresistibe, louvered opennings
were added to the cabin doors to promote airflow.
