Bavaria Rendezvous in the Weather
Proving
the old adage "the worst day on a sailboat is better than
the best day in the office", Bavaria Yacht Owners
conducted the 4th annual
Rendezvous in
Solomon's Island, MD, this year. The event was held
August 21-23, 2009 - you know - the weekend that
delivered 5+ inches of rain and big gusty winds on the
southern Bay.
Never mind that... using the wonderful resources of
Solomon's Island; the Calvert Maritime Museum, great
waterfront restaurants, and indoor meeting places, we
had a wonderful Rendezvous again this year. 16 brave
souls from around the Chesapeake, New Jersey, and even
Ontario, Canada, made it to the event.

up for next year? We're planning now, so if you have
suggestions, Bavarians,
let us know your thoughts.
