Kokomo
We keep our yacht at Ocean Gate Yacht Basin near the mouth of Toms River in Barnegat Bay, New Jersey, USA, and sail her every weekend and take a trip or two each year. This year we spent a weekend down at Atlantic City and plan to go to Cape May as well. Our plans for a longer trip to Martha's Vinyard are currently on the back burner. The Ocean 42 really shines when out on the open sea. Last weekend we sailed from Barnegat Light to Manasquan and back in about 14 knots true. We saw true speeds (GPS) over 7 knots close hauled (30 degrees apparent) and consistent 6.5 to 7 on the downwind leg (110 apparent - wait til I get that spinnaker).
